Governor Dannel P. Malloy addressed the business community on March 4th at Whitney Center during a luncheon hosted by the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC).

“This is the third year the Governor has joined us,” said Nancy Dudchik, president of the HRCC. “We really feel that our small business community is the backbone of our economy. Anytime we can bring the Governor to listen to our small business owners it is a great thing to offer to our members.” Dudchik said she is particularly grateful to host sponsor Whitney Center and to sponsor Southern Connecticut State University. “This event also gives the Governor a chance to see the expansion Whitney Center has done,” Dudchik said. “He’ll see what they’ve been able to build and meet the residents. Whitney Center is another economic driving force in our town.”
